Love what you do, and do what you love, so the saying goes. The two phrases are inextricably tied together, but don’t confuse one for the other.
Loving what you do…
…is a choice.
…will make you successful.
…will inspire others to do the same.
…is a daily commitment to not let jealousy, greed, or envy affect your work.
…means valuing those you work with and for over yourself.
…clears the path that leads to doing what you love.
Doing what you love…
…is a privilege.
…is a long-term goal.
…does not mean it won’t feel like work.
…means giving up societal ideas of the definition of success.
…is a reward for loving what you do.
And so the cycle continues.
Love what you do every day, and someday you’ll find that life has allowed you to do what you love.
