In honor of everyone going back to school, here are some things you’ll wish you’d done after you graduate:

• Go to more recitals.
• Drink less.
• Study more.
•  Practice way more.
• Pay attention in your core curriculum classes.
• Throw yourself completely into music.
• Realize how lucky you are to be a music major in college.

Think about it. Then I’ll see you in the practice room.
