My brass quintet, Phoenix Chamber Brass, is working on music for our upcoming season, and we’ve decided to do several parts of “The Art of Fugue,” including this one. So I found this the other day and thought it was really interesting to see the sheet music, the performer, and an abstract visual representation of the music all at once. Definitely helps the uninitiated concertgoer understand what’s happening. Maybe we should try to recreate this at our concerts?
